A Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation law, Lisa Baziak is a 1988 graduate of the University of California Los Angeles where she obtained a double major in history and political science. She attended Pepperdine University School of Law on a partial scholarship, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in 1991.

She has more than 30 years of trial experience before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board where she has also served as Judge Pro Tempore. In her first years of practice, Ms. Baziak worked with defense law firms representing insurance companies in workers' compensation cases. However, she decided in 1994 to assist injured workers exclusively. She lectures on workers' compensation matters before unions, employee groups and insurance industry employer groups.

She is a sustaining member of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association and has served as past secretary of the local chapter of that organization. She is a member of the California and Orange County Bar Associations. She is also licensed to practice law before the California Supreme Court and the federal district courts. She was admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum whose membership is limited to lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award of settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more. She is listed in the Martindale-Hubble Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, which recognizes attorneys with the "Highest Possible Peer Review Rating in Legal and Ethical Standards". She was also selected as a "Super Lawyer". This peer designation is awarded only to a select number of accomplished attorneys in each state. The Super Lawyers selection process takes into account peer recognition, professional achievement in legal practice, and other cogent factors.

Like her father before her, Lisa Baziak determined that injured workers needed compassionate and dedicated legal representation. She has devoted her career to assisting injured workers in obtaining the maximum benefits available to them.
